Blogging, can't get enough of it, all day I was thinking about what could I blog about and hope people will stumble across and enjoy. I want ways to find followers, find people who look forward to my blogs, but how will I succeed!? There's nothing I can possibly think of that will have that epic of effect on the internet world, that will make me one of those internet celeb's, so for now I can only rant about the random shit and hope it catches someones attention and some of my followers wont be my best friends!
You would think with it being my first year of college, in a city at an apparently "party college" I wouldn't have time to blog about things because of social outings, school work, and the whole "college experience"... Welllll unfortunately everything is the complete opposite here. My frosh week had NO parties, or any that I was invited to. And the thing about Algonquin that I think is one of the reasons why it's so hard to meet people and go out is that it's one HUGE residence, it's not like other universities or college's that there is separate towers or dorms placed throughout campus, it's just one huge 6 story rectangle which I think prevents from meeting new people because its TOO big. So my first month of college has been pretty low key, it's still fun but there needs to be crazy things that happen, that I can go home with and tell all these "epic college stories" and your probably thinking "oh just go knock on doors and introduce yourself", well I would do that but it seems like a lot of people especially on my floor aren't interested in the social aspect and are focused strictly on school, which is good too I suppose. I never see my other floor mates leave their room nor do I pass them in the hallway. So as new friendships go, it's strictly the people in my classes- who are all great, or the random people who decide to strike up a conversation with me in the laundry room!
