Things I Learnt:
- If your use to cheap whiskey, keep to the cheap stuff, don't splurge and buy Jack Daniels cause you may have a whole 40oz that you cannot stomach for the life of you.
- You may see a man peeing in a parking garage- don't call him out on it, cause he will step away from cover and continue to pee in wide open space in front of you.
- As dead as the club will be at 11 go early, avoid line ups, you can snag a booth/table and you will have more than 40minutes of dance time...
- Know your bus routes and times, cause at 3am with sore feet in november dressed in club clothes the last thing you want to do is wait in the cold or walk!
- Know the buddy system for clubbing, you dance with someone you know and you watch out for their backside for creepy men as they will do the same.
- At the beginning of the night the dance floor WILL be packed, you fit where you can and once there's a spot you FILL IT! Don't be afraid to use elbows!
- Men will be persistent, they will hang around and keep on trying to dance with you- this is where the buddy system comes in handy!
- Don't make eye contact when vulgar songs come on in the club especially "Tonight i'm F*cking You".
- Don't wear heals you can't handle or any shoes you "squeeze" yourself into, cause 20mins later you WILL regret it!
- You may see the same homeless man on 3 different occasions in one year.
- If you end up all piling into a car, the small people get the floor/trunk, and don't talk about car accidents to the person thats on the floor/trunk.
- Always, always have extra photo ID on you, you have probably changed a lot since you we're 16 and the bouncers don't know that or could care less.
Those are just some tips for clubbing, but regardless of all these things I was so happy to see everyone and it meant a lot to me that friends we're willing to drive and travel 6+ hours to come spend a weekend with me! I had a great time and appreciated every minute they we're here so; Alex, Chrissy, Dakota, Riley, Vic, and Michelle: Thank you and I love you all! I cannot wait for Christmas, Reading Week and of course Summer! ;) xoxo
