So a long story short, my sister met her current boy friend off of plenty of fish, their like 2 years in, living together, happily ever after.
So why not join, especially when your new to a big city like I am in Ottawa. The only problem is, every one that is on there is literally there for EVERYTHING ELSE but DATING.
And at first you're excited, theres like 266311 people online at a time, so you're thinking "so much potential!" but after a few months in, maybe not even you realize that nothing good will come out of it. While some of you may browse to see my points or know from personal experience if you are/were a member, there is some good looking people, in my case some hot men! And it's exciting cause you can just send messages away and you await for a reply, but I learnt the hard way that no one wants dating, and that if there are good looking, normal sounding, single men.. there's some thing wrong! For example things i've learnt the hard way:
1) People that message you with no pictures or "private images" these people either; already have a girl friend and want to cheat, or are afraid to show their true selves, or have intentions of murdering you.
2) People that only have 1 image are most likely "picture collectors" and have intentions of murdering you.
3) People that email you a nice welcoming message; just want in your pants
4) Hot people that message you; just want in your pants
5) Anyone thats online and chat requesting you past 12AM; just want in your pants
6) The men in their mother's basements with cats; just want in your pants(1st time ever)
7) People that message you back and fourth a few times/couple days; just want in your pants
8) You get creepy men offering you cash for sex
9) You get men asking if your into; deep throating, bondage, feet fetishes, joining his current girlfriend- the lists go on!
So I'm calling it as I see it; DO NOT hype yourself up when you get a few inboxes cause like 99.99% are just there for sex and the 0.01% don't sign up for online dating. But if your in it just for some fun, then go right ahead!
