Friend Requests, why!?

I can say for all of us, we have all gotten those random friend requests, right?
You get an email saying: Alhslhwbar Mohahahdns Youe3asn wants to add you as a friend.
Aren't you ever curious why? Why you? Why them? WTF?
And fortunately this happens to me a lot, so I'm always interested in seeing who they are, so without accepting, I look at whatever information is provided.  Majority of the time their profile is in hebrew or some other foreign language from a country that you really didn't think the last thing they would have is a computer and Facebook. They send you messages saying "you nice girl, come to country for marriage and joy" or "i bet u have nice toes". Or you get the random some what normal people(not really), that have 1249879827 Facebook friends because they pass you in the hall and you made eye contact so thats automatically a friend request right there! Then there is the really bored low-live's seeing how many Facebook friends they can get so they can brag to their only 2 actual friends how cool they are over WOW while pwning noobs. OR you get the creepy people, that have no display picture, or just picture of their cat, that add you because of suggestion but really their intentions are to kidnap you.
But I don't think i'll ever understand why..it's definitely a puzzler thats entertaining
